2025 Update

The last few years have been very challenging in Haiti and we have not been able to have the CVESH clinic staffed with doctors on any type of regular basis due to security concerns .   In the last 6 months it has not been even possible to travel to Haiti due to gang violence and unrest in the country.

This means we have had to make the difficult decision to close the CVESH clinic until further notice.   We have provided most of the Haitian national staff with severance and continue to stay in contact with them.   Two staff remain employed to provide for the care and maintenance of the clinic facility and eye house.    While this has been happening the Christianville Mission campus has been going through similar steps with ownership of the campus being transferred to a team of Haitian pastors in the area.   We are continuing to provide funding to this group to help support security for the campus (which includes the CVESH buildings).

We continue to look to the Lord for future direction.   We are exploring options for opening the clinic again when conditions improve.    Please be praying for the Lord’s wisdom and direction with next steps.

We continue to have funding needs for remaining staff, building security and maintenance.    Please consider a regular monthly or a onetime gift.
